01 / The material change
v1.1.2 already knew how to make a page product-native. v1.2.0 makes those decisions hold together as the product grows.
The release does not introduce a new house style. It introduces a clearer contract between raw visual values, the meanings they carry, and the components that use them. The practical result is an interface that is easier to extend without each new screen inventing its own visual logic.
That is why the change feels larger than its version number: it moves coherence earlier in the workflow, before isolated styling choices can drift apart.
02 / Before and now
The difference is
in the relationships.
Grid, type, color, spacing, and motion were considered, but no single compact contract made every relationship explicit.
Color, type, layout, spacing, shape, components, states, media, and motion are reconciled as one proportional system.
A sound rule, with more interpretation left between a raw value and its job in the interface.
Raw values map to product roles, then to behavior in context, keeping contrast and state relationships intentional.
Components were shaped by the product, but related instances could still accumulate separate decisions.

Northline and all displayed operating data are fictional. Both frames use the same product, copy, sample data, and viewport; the After version was rebuilt around the v1.2.0 system workflow.
05 / Evidence, not mythology

Coherence was exercised in English and Thai.
Three English and three Thai Scenario 19 implementations passed with independent responsive browser checks, and the relevant guardrails were repaired. The release and public installation paths were also verified.
